I know that it can be a pain, but just think of the rest of us that can't afford to purchase MSDN or Technet subscriptions that would love to give the Vista betas a try. The only way that I was able to afford my MSDN Operating System Level Subscription Renewal this year, was my Federal Income Tax Refund from the 2005 Tax Year.

I can understand droping out of the beta program if you don't have the time to put forth effort to making the product even better. However, knowingly joined MSDN or a TechNet subscription at a later time knowing you may only get certain beta versions of the software, would you complain that the accual beta testers got more up to date betas?

You might recall the group invented in the 1960s by Al Capp in his comic strip Lil' Abner called S.W.I.N.E. which was Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything?
